Why A New Years Bloggers Honours…
When I started blogging back in February I was more than a little nervous about venturing into the world of blogging. I was racked with self doubt, doubting very much that anyone would actually click on my blog, let alone hang around long enough to read a post, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Over those eleven months I have ‘met’ some wonderfully supportive and inspiring bloggers, who not only take the time to read what I have written, but also take the time to leave a comment and share my posts; for that I am truly grateful (and still a little surprised!).
Of course my self doubt still lingers, I am sure that the majority of bloggers feel the same nervous flutter of butterflies in their stomach just before they hit the publish button too. Sharing inner most thoughts, feelings and opinions does that to a person.
I would like to show my appreciation to the great and supportive bloggers I have ‘met’ by honouring them in my New Year Bloggers Honours List.
(Fireworks and the popping of champagne corks please!!!)
I Would Like To Thank The Following Bloggers…
For their support over the past eleven months. They have made blogging a far more enjoyable experience than I had ever imagined.
Lysa Wilds and her blog Welcome To My Circus
Lysa is one of the first bloggers I ‘met’ and having started her blog not long before I started mine, we have learned a lot together. She has been a tremendous support, regularly commenting on and sharing my posts and for that I would like to thank her. I hope we continue to support one another for many years to come!
Lysa blogs about the circus that is her life. I love the way she’s not scared to poke fun at herself and still manages to crack a smile when life isn’t treating her the way she would like. Why not pop over and check it out.
Jen and her blog JENerally Informed
Jen (along with Celeste) hosts the first linky party (Mommy Reality Challenge) that I had the nerve to participate in regularly. She took the time to pop over to my blog and has been a valuable supporter ever since. Which I notice and appreciate. Thank you Jen!
In her blog Jen shares a variety of posts; some of her more recent posts included some great (and humorous) advice as to what to buy (or what not to buy) as Christmas gifts. I love the way her posts always have an undercurrent of humour. JensGuy (her better half) is also a regular poster on her blog, sharing posts written with a similar sense of humour.
Jennifer and her blog The Deliberate Mom
Jennifer has to be the most organized blogger in the blogosphere! (Truly inspiring!)
She juggles homeschooling her children, alongside her regular blogging schedule. For all her efficiency she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Her posts cover a host of subjects from homeschooling to her life in general.
I would like to thank Jennifer for her support over the past few months. It is sincerely appreciated.
R. F. Dietz and her blog DIZMOMMY
I love reading about the fun and games Rebecca has bringing up her son Dylan. Her posts are lively and fun, just like Dylan! And her style of writing gives a glimpse into the person behind the blog; chatty and honest (and maybe just a little bit ditsy!). (Never change!).
Even with having her hands full with her son, her work and blogging, she still takes the time to pop over to my blog and leave some great comments. Thank you Rebecca!
Celeste and her blog Leapfrog And Lipgloss
Celeste is the other host of The Mommy Reality Challenge. Alongside The Mommy Reality Challenge Celeste hosts giveaways and reviews on her blog. She has always been encouraging and fun in her comments. Thank you Celeste.
Victoria and her blog Verily Victoria Vocalises
I stumbled across Victoria’s blog relatively recently when I was looking for a new blog link up to take part in and she always takes the time to pop over to my blog and show some support by leaving a comment and sharing my posts. Thank you Victoria it is noticed and appreciated.
Jocelyn and her blog The Reading Residence
I really enjoy the Word Of The Week link up that Jocelyn hosts and she never fails to pop over to my blog to leave a comment and share my post, even though she has plenty to do on her blog. Thank you Jocelyn!
In her blog you will find reviews, her #WotW link up and glimpses into her life.
For me, it is the encouragement and support of fellow bloggers that helps to make blogging a fun and interesting experience. Over the next twelve months I am sure I will ‘meet’ more great bloggers and plan to continue supporting fellow bloggers as much as I possibly can.
I would also like to thank everyone who takes the time to stop by and read my blog. Without readers it would all be pointless!
Wishing Everyone A Healthy And Happy 2015!!
