Buddy, The Ice Dog
When it’s cold and miserable outside you only have to look near the fireplace to see four of our five dogs. Just a muttering of the word “outside” has the dogs deliberately looking in the opposite direction trying desperately not to be seen. Which, I must say can be very cute.
Our fifth and most recent addition (Buddy) is the total opposite. The cold and damp don’t seem to worry him in the least. He’s happy lying on the cold marble and actively moves away from the fire.
A few days ago we had a massive hailstorm, with the hailstones settling for a good part of the day. The Budster seemed fascinated by the piles of ice. Happily playing and snouting through the ice whilst the other dogs were nowhere to be seen.
Getting a nice photo of the ‘ice dog’ didn’t prove too difficult, which I was glad about as it was rather cold out. I’ve recently discovered some new filters on BeFunky and couldn’t resist having a fiddle.
My Sunday Photo
Do you have a dog that seems to enjoy the cold? Or is yours more a warm weather dog?
