Oranges And Lemons
Can you see what I see? No, you are not cracking up. The tree does have both oranges and lemons on its branches and there is only one truck. It had me scratching my head for a while. Which to be honest isn’t hard to do.
The only logical explanation is that a branch from a lemon tree has been grafted onto an orange tree.
I do not have green fingers, but if I did, I would be out in our garden grafting lemon branches onto our orange trees. And orange tree branches onto our lemon tree. How brilliant would it be to have multi-fruit bearing trees? Perfect for those with small gardens, don’t you think?
My Sunday Photo
A tree bearing both oranges and lemons.
What is the oddest tree you’ve seen before?
