Trust Me, I’ll Catch You
You may find it surprising to know that our cat chose us. She came to us as a feral (and I mean feral) cat. Once we realised she had kittens we started leaving food out for her and it wasn’t long before she moved onto our woodpiles with her litter.
She wasn’t the least bit put off by the fact we have five dogs, so I’m not sure what that says about them. To be honest, though they wouldn’t stand a chance against her. Sometimes I swear I can hear her chuckling at them as she taunts them from up high.
I was sitting on the steps leading to the roof with my camera in hand (as you do). When Buddy spotted Ugg at the top.
I couldn’t resist taking this sequence of photos. It’s a shame the cat didn’t come down as that would have made for some funny photos. This big dog is not half as brave as he likes to make out!
My Sunday Photos
Buddy spots Ugg, the cat at the top of the stairs. Obviously, he’s concerned for her welfare.
“A bit to the left, trust me, I’ll catch you”… I didn’t like to tell him that was hardly going to happen!
“Just a more bit to the left and I’ve got you, Ugg”.
If you look carefully you can see the image of the cat reflected in his eyes. Okay, you may have to zoom in a bit!
Have you been adopted by an animal?
