Lagana & Kalamaki Beach – Through My Lensball
Last week I managed to have a day off midweek to spend with my sister and her family. Knowing they wouldn’t be around early I took advantage and headed to the Lagana & Kalamaki beach with my lensball in hand (or pocket).
It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. This year I’ve been starting work earlier (by choice) in order to finish that bit earlier, but it’s meant not being able to get to the beach first thing. And at weekends I like to take the dogs up the hills for a walk just to enjoy the sunrise and the coolest part of the day.
In my head, I had an idea of how I wanted my photo to look, but I was having a problem with the autofocus through the lensball. So I ended up having to find somewhere to balance the lensball and good view up and down the beach so I could focus manually.
I’ve never had that sort of problem before, but maybe it was the bad light making it difficult? I don’t know, but I plan to work it out.
So here you have them…

Any tips on how to autofocus through a lensball in lowlight conditions?
