Where Does A Cat Have To Sleep To Get Some Peace?
Yay! This was the photo I had planned for last Sunday! It was tucked away in the totally wrong folder (so much for trying to be organised). Last week there was one thing after another that kept me from sharing a Sunday photo, my misfiled photo being only part of the problem. It’s that time of year.
Anyway enough of the waffle…. *muffled sound from behind gag*
Ugg is the once feral cat that chose us as her humans. She patrols the woodpiles keeping rodents away (rather unsuccessfully) in return for food, love (on her terms) and warmth. She never wanders far and is more often than not curled up somewhere in the sun.
The dogs tolerate her in varying degrees, the little ones want to take her down (small dog syndrome), my money’s on her winning that one! The bigger dogs aren’t too bothered by her and are more wary than anything else.
My Sunday Photo
Where does a cat have to sleep to get some peace and quiet?
Out of all the dogs, Buddy is the wariest of her, but on this day he was feeling rather brave.
What possessed Ugg to snuggle down on our twinkling (our word for kindling ever since my Mum kept calling it twinkling and no one had the heart to correct her). Thick furred? Too much food more like!
How do your pets get along?
