She Can’t Speak…
But her eyes say it all…
She is not going outside without putting up some resistance.
This picture was taken at just after six thirty on a cold morning this week. When I get up in the morning, the dogs get up too and (usually) quite happily go outside to do their business, but this week the weather has taken a turn and this little dog hasn’t been too keen on going out .
We knew the mild weather couldn’t last, but the cold has been a bit of a shock to the system, including the dogs too by the look of it. Winter has finally arrived!
The first things I do on a morning is put the kettle on and get the fire going, so when Rascal got out of her bed, instead of heading for the front door to go out with the other dogs, she wondered over and plonked herself in front of the fire… I can’t say I blame her.
At first she sat there, facing the fire and hoping if she sat still and didn’t look at me, that somehow I wouldn’t notice her.
She looked so cute that I picked up my camera, said the magic word ”outside” and she shot me this; ”You want me to go where?” look over her shoulder.
I can’t repeat what she said to me when I picked her up and (gently) slung her outside. To add to her pain the other dogs passed her as they came back in from the cold.
Are your dogs happy to go outside in the cold or do they slink away shooting you a ”You want me to go where?” kind of look over their shoulder?
