The Intricacy Of A Cobweb
This week is the first week I’ve been out walking since twisting my ankle a couple of weeks ago. I usually enjoy a morning run several times a week, but as I won’t be running until the New Year (at least), I’ve taken the opportunity to get out walking with my camera in hand.
I try to resist the urge to snap everything and anything but sometimes can’t help myself (thank goodness for digital cameras!).
The nights have been cold, but the days are still warm and sunny, making for dewy mornings. On one morning walk this week I spotted what looked like a whole village of dewy cobwebs strung between blades of dewy grass. Of course, I took several pictures, trying to get a shot of the whole ‘village’ of spiders webs, but my trusty Nikon point and shoot wasn’t really up to the task (one day I would love to be the owner of a ‘proper posh’ camera).
I chose this picture as my My Sunday Photo as I think the dew perfectly highlights the intricacy of a cobweb.
Have you ever stopped and really studied a cobweb?
