Through My Lens #1 – Zakynthos
Recently I stumbled across the Through My Lens photography link up hosted by Mersad of Mersad Donko Photography. And thought it looked like the perfect link up to share some of the photos I take when out and about on Zakynthos.
Now winter is here we will be out walking more, which naturally means more photographs. Last winter I had plenty of photographs that I would have liked to have shared, but didn’t, for fear of oversharing . Now I have a good reason to share even more of my photographs!
So Here Is My ‘Through My Lens #1’…
Vougato – Zakynthos
I can’t resist a bit of green.
The shadow of an island in the distance is Kefalonia.
It may be autumn, but it can still be hot walking in the sun. The trees created a canopy providing us with a little shade.
Lagging behind isn’t a bad thing, especially when there is a dead end ahead.
Zakynthos is known as the green island for good reason.
The problem with exploring hillsides is there is often a hill to climb.
The view at the top makes the climb worth while .
Not having a wide angled lens, I had to make do with a little ‘stitching’ of photographs. It’s the best I can do.
Then it was back down the hill.
A walk in photos, wouldn’t be complete without an olive grove or two!
Olive trees always make for interesting photos.
And The Thing That Caught My Husbands Attention The Most?…
An 8mm head bolt. Probably off an old Husqvarna chainsaw.
What strange things attract your attention when out and about?
