The Cats Are Looking Good
Sorting through the few hundred photographs I’ve taken on my new camera this week (most of which I ditched), I was pleasantly surprised at how a few of the photographs turned out.
This week I have spent a considerable amount of time getting familiar with the camera. Picking it up and taking the same picture several times, using different setting, just to see how the pictures would turn out.
My favourite picture out of the lot was one of my daughter. It wasn’t a nice picture as such (which is why she won’t give me her permission to use it), but I liked her blank expression (she is the queen of the blank stare) and the way the underside of the orange trees (with oranges hanging) where out of focus, but she was clear and sharp.
In the end I settled on sharing these pictures of Ugg and her kitten:
It’s hard to believe that eight months ago Ugg was a skinny feral, bin cat, that we started to feed when she showed up with her kittens. She’s quadrupled in size since being spayed and looks so much healthier now.
Both cats are looking good, don’t you think?
